November Events

NovemberThe season of “Thanks” has arrived. We are all thankful for something; our family is at the top of that list. As we enter the Holiday Season, Odessa has many opportunities to spend with family, to offer thanks, and to have a great time. As we enter November, we want to highlight some activates that you shouldn’t miss!

Saturday the 21st marks the Lions Club’s annual Turkey Carnival. If you love bingo, don’t miss out! There are plenty of inkers to go around and the calling of bingo numbers will run into the night. Each bingo winner gets a turkey, or two…. Or three! There will be other games going on during this event, the kitchen will be offering hamburgers and pie, and a raffle will finish out the night. Come on down with the family and enjoy this wonderful atmosphere on a lazy Saturday afternoon!

The Odessa Masonic Lodge is offering a potluck dinner on Thanksgiving. This is an opportunity for fellowship with others around town who can’t get make it out of town.

The afternoon starts with a warm, homemade meal followed by board games well into the early evening. So find your favorite board game and come on down! Turkey provided by the Odessa Masonic Lodge. Check the Odessa Record for RSVP information.

We wish you a wonderful November and hope you have an opportunity to make one of these events. Stay warm while hanging Christmas lights and always remember the reason for the season.
