History

Chiefs Bar and Grill opened July 1, 2006. The owners, Mike and Sherri Frederick, chose the name “Chiefs Bar and Grill” to honor their families’ military heritage. Both of their fathers served in the U.S. Navy. Mike & Sherrie both followed in their footsteps; Mike served 4 years active duty in the Navy and 21 years in the Navy Reserve; Sherri has been in the Navy Reserve for 18 years. She in currently in the Ready Rescue in an active status. Both were promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in 2003, and thus the name “Chiefs” was born.
